What We Did This Weekend

Watched: “In The Heights“

We started off our weekend by watching this awesome movie. I’m not much of a “musical movie” person, but this one I could get behind. It wasn’t filled with corny music that didn’t make sense to me. Instead, it was filled with just the right amount of Latin/Hip-Hop vibes. The story was great and the entire production just felt authentic. Carmelo loved it. He watched it 3 times, and still likes to fast forward to his favorite songs. We give it 6 thumbs up!

Visited Our New House!

For those of you who don’t know, we have been in the process of selling our current house and moving into a new build. It’s been quite the process so far, but the finish line is near! Our new build recently got a door AND lock put on it, so now we have to ask for a key if we want to get inside. No more randomly showing up to walk around like we own the place unannounced! Top Golf

We had the chance to celebrate one of Carmelo’s friends birthday at Top Golf. We had never been there before and the kids had a lot of fun. Carmelo and Marina both enjoyed teeing that ball up and hacking away. It was fun. Mama even got in on the action.

That was a good effort. Nothing compared to the BOMB I hit. Unfortunately, that wasn’t recorded, and Cristina didn’t see it either. The kids saw it though, and that’s all that matters!
