Family Blog – Weekend Activities
What did we do this weekend?
Well, we started off Friday night with one of our “regular” pizza and a movie nights. Friday was Something called Disney+ Day, which meant they were releasing a bunch of new content at one time. We had a bunch of different options to choose from. I had my eye on the Shang-Chi movie which included the all new “IMAX Aspect Ratio.” However, the kids had other ideas.
We settled on the brand new Home Alone move.
It was a decent movie. I was actually surprised by it. It definitely had a good mixture of kid and adult jokes to laugh at. There were a good amount of laughs to be had, and the entire family thoroughly enjoyed it. I definitely recommend keeping an open mind and checking it out!
Saturday
Saturday was just a bunch of grown up stuff and chores to do around the house. It wasn’t fun, but it had to be done. I spent pretty much the entire day re-organizing our garage, because it’s just gotten out of hand with boxes from our move STILL. After I was done with that, I went for a run and got back home to watch football.
Melo got to spend most of his day hanging out with Gigi and Papa. Doing pretty much whatever he wanted to do.
The rest of the kids got to stay at home and have fun with mama. She took them and got them new toys from the store and they played with them for the rest of the day.
Once we were all back together the kids and mama made a cake!
Sunday
Woke up early on Sunday to start “adulting” again. The kids picked up ALL of their toys from upstairs and put them away. They have soooooo many toys, but they got them put away so we could make sure to vacuum the entire upstairs area.
After that we got ready to watch our DALLAS COWBOYS whoop up on those Falcons! They took care of business and we’re back on track to making it to the Super Bowl!!!
We ended the weekend by having some Wingstop and doing laundry for the week. Overall it was a fun weekend, and now I’m sore because I’m an old man (according to Melo).
